UK law places significant importance on protecting personal data. As a result of this we set out here our policy on personal data so that supporters of Heart of Lansdown Conservation Group know that their data is being stored and used responsibly.

We collect data in two ways:
1.    When people sign up to our newsletter
2.    When people inform us that they have completed the B&NES Questionnaire on the Winifred's Lane ETRO.

In all circumstances we collect the minimum amount of data required.

We collect contact detail information when people wish to join our newsletter. This is to allow us to send those people newsletters and will not be used for any other reason. By signing up to the newsletter the individual consents to receive communications from the Heart of Lansdown Conservation Group.

The personal data that we collect when people inform us that they have completed the B&NES Questionnaire on the Winifred's Lane ETRO is so that we can guage the strength of opposition to the Winifred's Lane ETRO within the Trial Area.

All contact details are stored securely and are available to a limited number of Heart of Lansdown Conservation Group members in order to pursue our campaign.
